The four roles
Assign each teammate the role that matches their job in the hiring process. Owners and admins hold the broadest access in the workspace. Recruiters run the delivery side and can export the audit pack once results are released. Evaluators score candidate responses against the shared rubric and attach notes as evidence. Give every person their own account — attribution depends on it.
- Owner — broadest workspace access, including audit pack export.
- Admin — broad access, including audit pack export.
- Recruiter — runs deliveries and candidates; can export the audit pack once results are released.
- Evaluator — scores responses against the shared rubric and adds evidence notes.
Role-scoped report access
Access to reports and results is scoped by role, so what a person sees depends on how they were invited. The audit pack — the self-contained decision file with every score, note, integrity event, and the decision log — is always exportable by owners and admins; recruiters can export it once results are released. Evaluators work within the evaluation flow rather than the full reporting surface.
Every score has a name on it
SkillCort never records an anonymous score. Every score in the record is attributed to a named evaluator with a timestamp, and evaluator notes attach to scores as evidence. Multiple evaluators can score the same response; within a criterion, their scores are averaged.
AI assistance follows the same rule. AI can summarize long responses and suggest draft criterion scores, but a named person confirms or overrides every suggestion, and each AI output carries model and version provenance. AI is decision support — a human always makes the call.
Least-privilege by design
The permission model reflects the platform's data principles: purpose-limited collection and role-based least-privilege access enforced at the database layer. Candidate data is never shared across clients and there are no cross-client reputation scores. When you plan your team, start with the narrowest role that lets each person do their work, and widen only when a real task requires it.
