Set up a delivery

The delivery is already there

You do not create a delivery as a separate step. Creating an assessment creates its default delivery, named after the assessment, and the builder's Delivery & security panel is where you shape it: the schedule form sets the time window that defines when candidates can take the assessment, the Access & identity settings decide how candidates get in, and the security form holds the proctoring configuration.

All of it is editable at any time — including while the assessment is still a draft, so you can prepare the delivery before publishing. If you need to run the same assessment for another cohort with different settings, the Deliver tab offers additional deliveries under "Advanced — deliver to another cohort", each with its own window and configuration.

Publish before inviting

Publishing gates inviting, not configuration. While the assessment is a draft, the Deliver tab shows a publish notice in place of the invite form; once you publish, the invite form appears. To publish, work through the builder's checklist — it is computed from the real assessment data, required failures lock the Publish button, and each failing row has a Fix action that takes you to the right panel.

Security settings

The delivery's security form covers lockdown mode with a violation policy and optional limits, copy/paste blocking, print blocking, second-screen detection, webcam recording, screen recording, ID check, and — as an advanced external-app option — Safe Exam Browser.

Keep the configuration proportional to the stakes of the assessment, and change it whenever you need to: settings apply to candidate sessions started after the change. Everything you enable is disclosed to candidates at the consent gate before they start.

How candidates get in

Email invitations are the default path: candidates are invited from the Deliver tab, and invitation emails use your organization's reply-to address, which is set in the organization settings alongside the default language and timezone; a missing setting falls back to the product default.

A delivery's Access & identity settings can open other paths too — a public self-registration link, single-use invitation codes, or credential matching against a guest list, so you can run cohorts that don't start from a per-candidate email. Whatever the path, every candidate passes a consent gate that states exactly what is monitored, and a preflight check verifies their setup when the delivery uses the camera.
